The importance of the ADA’s establishment overall, combined with its continuous contribution to Azerbaijan as a country, more than justifies its financial support by the government of Azerbaijan. This support is expressed in a significant capital investment through which ADA has been building a world-class campus. Moreover, the government’s strong financial support during the launch years has ensured the school’s continuous promise to quality.
This commitment by the people of Azerbaijan, however, has always been viewed as investment capital – not long-term funding. ADA’s goal, instead, is to ultimately become self-sufficient, to help meet the needs of the Azerbaijani people through research and learning… but not depend on its purse.
The school has pioneered a few innovative concepts in the education sector of Azerbaijan. Launch of a permanent endowment fund is one of them. The ADA Foundation is endowment-building arm of the school. As such, it also serves as a mechanism of transparency and control.
ADA Foundation is organized exclusively for charitable purposes to support the school in creating and maintaining educational activities in Azerbaijan and elsewhere in the world. We believe schools are built in perpetuity. By supporting ADA Foundation and building a permanent endowment fund, we are investing in the future of the school. This is an ambitious and worthy goal, and we hope you will join us in its pursuit.
The Foundation has offices in Azerbaijan and the United States of America. Both of them are non-profit organizations. ADA Foundation USA is a non-profit corporation formed under the provisions of the District of Columbia Nonprofit Corporations Act, Chapter 2, Title 29 of the District of Columbia Official Code. It is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501c3 tax-exempt organization.
